Last year I took some 8 credit hours of organic chemistry with a professor. About a month ago I was talking with him about a research when he invited me to a seminar which he said it is related to that research and health care. One week after he called me and sent me the address and also asked for Sepehr to come (which was weird). Any way, on the day of seminar we went there and he introduced us to some people who even were not health specialist of any kinds.
When it began we realized it is about a pyramidal business thing which you have to register in a website called am*way and buy all things you need from there, from shampoo to cosmetics to groceries and they were insisting it is the best organic product selling company! And then you have to share it with your friends and if they sign up and buy stuff from there you will get some benefit so your are having a small business!!! And you will make money!
I don't want to talk about its system but that night my professor wasted our precious time while whenever I had asked him about it he was saying it is related to that research!!! I trusted him but he disproved my trust!
Any way, I needed a letter of recommendation from him, I went to his office this morning, I didn't know how to act, being thankful or angry, but more interesting was he. I just asked him about his email address and there was an awkward silence between us for 5 minutes. I just want to wait for my letter and that's it. I think I need to forget what he did to us.
So be careful don't trust anyone, don't ask simple questions when you are invited by some one, be picky about the details, otherwise you will loose your time and your friendship with some one.
